Saw this car in-person when it was being built. I imagine driving it flat out is going to be a bit hairy.

and now, everything automotive I've ever done, seems half assed. that may be generous, how about 1/4 assed.

I saw this car in person as it sits in the last picture just before its interior was being completed. the driveline is a FULL M5V10 driveline- engine, trans, rear end, all suspension components as well including struts/shocks, control arms, sway bars, subframes everything. this car has had all of its BMW electronics ripped out and they have all been replaced by Pi (I believe that is correct spelling) they do electronics for most F1 teams. every electrical connector is military grade screw on connection. I was told that the final outlay on the car was in excess of 400K$
again this is what i was told by a person who did the interior on the car. The pictures don't even begin to do this car justice. aside from the 4 pipes out the back you would never understand why (based on exterior appearance) why you driving your 997 turbo just got you ass handed to you! that is how good this car is. Imagine if you sent your car over to McLaren and said ok here is a blank check build me this car. I think that this is what you would get back IT IS THAT GOOD.

Take a closer look @ the height of those strut towers they have been lengthened/height raised to accomodate the M5 suspension struts like i said before off of the wall

Actually, the subframes and suspension are all E92 (3-series) stuff.

E30M3s are getting rarer and rarer.. I would have rather seen all that work done to a standard e30 with M3 fenders welded on than see all that work done to a real M3.

Bobby Thrash (strictly german) is working on an E30 wagon at the moment. He's putting on E30 M3 flares and an S50 Swap!

in general I'd agree with that. however, once you pass a certain level of awesomeness, I think we can all learn to forgive. that level has been exceeded here don't you think?

Is the world a better place with this car in it, than it would be with one more E30 M3? I vote yes.

There are just some things that make me green with jealousy and envy. The fabrication skills and end product of this car are two of them. Amazing.

I dont think its a real E30 M3 anyways by the look of how they did the fenders, unless there is something else I'm missing (and I probably am).

I won't be able to leave my desk for a few mintues till things calm down... :)

I think they made the flares bigger. In the cardomain link, they have an original E30 M3.

you could tell its a real M3 by the C-Pillar... compare it to a normal E30, they are different

I did notice it looked a little different but I'm not too fimilar with E30s.
