More details on it here. It's a real M3, and it was a really nice one to boot!

I wonder what the weight distribution on that is...

Despite whatever weight saving wizardry BMW might have done a V10 must weight a bit more than an I4.

Now I know what an "E30 BMW" is...it's nice. Good car to drive then? :)

Sickest build I have ever seen!

They are using Pectel for engine management. Top of the line.

    Love that cage too.

E30 BMW and E30 M3 are two slightly different monsters.

The E30 is available in various guises from sedate 4 cylinder 318i to hi-po 6 cylinder 325es to crazy super hi-po 4 cylinder widebodied M3 even an AWD version in the 325ix.

GREAT starter cars that can be built up as your skills grow.

There are many e30 M3's, but only one of these. The sacrifice was worth it.

Must be nice to have that kind of money.

Dang. I just want to drop an L98 into an E30 and have some 357 badges made.

I remember seeing the beginnings of this build here last year or so.

    Amazing, regardless. Sick undertaking.

BTW--that's one helluva shop, huh??? Holy crap...

I don't even know what to say. It is just a glorious no holds barred build up. The owner went with the best of everything. It must be an odd car to drive. I hope it still has the E30 charm. It could just be a really fast, well handling car, but it could have lost something in translation.

Doesn't mean I don't want to drive it but the E30 M3 is an icon for a reason. This dude must REALLY like the look of the E30 M3! I bet he spent $300k on this car.
