Awesome.

I can see myself in that.
(I mean my reflection, not actually driving it.)
I'd do that. Probably took all the time ever- but worth every second.
I love BTTF as a movie but I wish it had never been made or that they had used a different car, because the confounded BTTF baggage prevents people being able to objectively percieve just how awesome the DeLorean looks. They are really great looking cars but the damned BTTF thing clouds your brain and prevents you from enjoying it for what it is.
A mirrorlike finish on a DeLorean; how apropos.
Now it just needs a razor blade and a vial of white powder hanging from the rearview mirror...
i love it. just needs matching paint on the bumpers
I'm sure in real life, they'd struggle to get to 88 mph, anyway. The styling is ok, but wow, how underwhelming can you get when it comes to performance? I'd rather drive an ugly but quick p.o.s. over pretty but lame car, any day.

The performance wasn't that bad for it's day.
DMC + LS1 + G50 = Win?
BTTF ruined the DeLorean. I think it was compounded by the fact that 99% of them looked the same (bare stainless). If they had been offered in a dozen colors and the movie people just chose, say, a red one, I think the movie car connection would have had less of an impact. Collectively, the cars were too unique, if that's possible.
If it wasn't for BTTF the DeLorean would languish next to the Bricklin SV-1 as another forgotten automotive atrocity. I didn't even think it was cool looking when the movie first came out.
I like crappy old cars but the dmc 12? Yuck

Yes.
Put some EL pinstripes on it, al la Tron. It would look awesome at night with the street lights.
