Ok so I am not such a big fan of the wheels that came with my Civic and I have seen BMW Bottlecaps on Civics and I kinda like the look plus I think the 14" wheels will ride more comfortable then the 17" wheels with the low profile tires. I think the bottlecaps are 14x6 with a ET33 offset and the Civics are 14x6 with a ET35 offset. Is that right? I am assuming the Bottlecaps will have no problems since I have seen a number of people do it but then again I have seen a lot of people do a lot of dumb things.

Another option for the 4x100 crowd is MINI Cooper wheels. I run them on my Scion xB.

14" tires are harder to come by anymore than 15".

I've bought two sets, complete with decent tires, from CL for $50-200.

Oh, and don't buy anything bigger than the 15" wheels. MINI wheels get stupid heavy above 15".

I've seen it on civics, aw11 mr2s, and miatas. The offset makes it flush with the fenders..I like it.

I might grab 15" Integra wheels instead. But I like Bottlecaps better.

    Are you talking about bottlecaps:

    Or Basket-weaves:

I've seen basket-weaves on Civics before, and it looked good. I'm not too sure about bottlecaps...

15" Integra GSR 5 spokes FTW! And beileve it or not EP3 Si 15" split spokes look good on pre '02 Civics.

    Bottlecaps

Although I wouldn't be opposed to Basketweaves

I don't have pictures on this computer but I ran bottle caps from an E30 on my CRX. They were sized perfectly and worked out quite well.

Here's a pic of the ones on my Accent I painted white.

I used to own an Integra...duh?

14 inch tires are getting to be few and far between. Now that I have a Civic that rides on 14 inch wheels, I am being pushed (somewhat unwillingly) into a PLUS 1 situation in the near future. If it's only a question of looks/novelty, stay with the 14 inch "bottle caps", as they aren't a rolling cliche.

I found these images ages ago but I still think they look great.

I don't have any pic of mine but I had some bottlecaps on my civic HB and I think they looked very nice. If I remember correctly the Honda center caps also fit the BMW wheels. Something like this:

Offset is pretty aggressive and they are a little heavy but they make GREAT daily driver wheels.

I've got some for my ST car and they work great. And were free!

Seconded. Not only that, but they are heavy without being particularly strong.

I've always liked the looks of the Civic Si wheels. ('99-ish ?)

The Bottlecap offset you quote is correct. If the civic offset is also correct, then the fitment would be almost stock.

    I say do it.

Painted white, they look like rally wheels. I approve of this.

I know. I have seen them white on 2 accents now and sort of want a set for mine.

Timely post... I just bought six bottlecaps and four 13x5.5 (4x100) Opel ralleyes for $120. (I used four of the bottlecaps to mount winter tires on my daily driver Integra).

I have always liked the looks of bottlecaps on a Honda - particularly a CRX.

    yes!

As discussed elsewhere, bottle caps look good on anything that is not a bmw. Well they look good on 2002s but that's about it for BMW.
