In what appears to be a common issue for the MINI, I have a broken dipstick. I want to get a metal one so I don't have to deal with this, and am in fact looking to get one today if possible. I'm pretty sure I can find a generic that I can cut down to size.
I'm wondering if one of you kind MINI owners could measure your dip stick 
?
I'd want to know the total length from bottom to top cap and the length from bottom to oil fill line. Inches, centimeters, or mm, your choice.
