A friend of mine wants me to help him do some basic maintenance on his C4 vette (still waiting on the exact model year.) A few questions, if you can answer or just point me towards a good resource I would appreciate it:
1: he wants to change the gear oil in the tranny. Anything tricky about it? On my Miata its so easy a caveman could do it. 2: fuel filter. Do I need a special tool or does it just use hose clamps? Is it somewhere stupid, or will Rhino Ramps be sufficient to get at it? 3: the fuel gauge and speedometer don't work or work erratically (he wasn't very clear on this.) Any common problems to look for?
