Awesome. I'm so excited to see this idea take off!

Awesome cars, but nothing like Can Am if it is a spec series...

I agree. It would be cool if they have a number of bodies, and allow GM, Ford and Mopar engines (7+ liters)...even if they had a spec recipe for the motors.

I really like it, it's a good start even if a spec series. Better to have it than not ever try. Hopefully the series will expand to allow multi-brand engines and different body styles.

Hopefully it will be better than Shelby's attempt.

Still, part of what made Can-Am so exciting was the variation in the cars anyhow each team/builder interpreted the rule set.

Not to be a wet blanket but $500k for spec racing? Sounds like NASCAR...

About the same as an LMPC car... Similar situation, but looks way cooler.

I'd bet you could build one in your garage for that... maybe...

Why not make the car spec and allow the teams to do whatever body they want? You do an homage to an unlimited series with a spec car? Unreal...

It would be better (IMO) to spec a max displacement, max aero, minimum weight, flat bottom, slab sides, non-composite chassis, etc and let builders essentially come up with all of that on their own---and that's about what they'd build when all is said and done.

Building one out of conventional aluminum/steel would cost way less than the CF stuff.

Everybody's missed the point here... it has four-spoke wheels!
