Can anyone recommend a shop in or near Shelton, CT that is good at working on classic cars? My Dad has a 69 Ford Ranchero that needs a little work but he isn't a DIY guy at all. He had a good shop near his old house, but recently moved. He's had bad luck taking it to normal shops as it seems a lot of places don't know how to work with stuff like carburetors and points. Any help is appreciated.

They're about half an hour away, but I can wholeheartedly recommend Murray Bros. Garage in Woodbury. They do work on modern stuff but there's always something like this there too. It's not uncommon to see a Model A or barn fresh Shelby there. Andrew built the 2008 (?) Hot Rod of the Year.

He's not far from Automotive Restorations in Stratford, but that's a really high end shop. I think that's where Tim bought his last Spitfire.

Stellers Garage on Bridgeport Ave. in Shelton. I had a business next door to them for about 15 years and they took over my buildings when I moved south.
