anyone tried them to quiet a street car in addition to their cirrent full exhaust with mufflers? if so, how did they work?

im revisiting them, as i have no room for a bigger cased muffler or resonators under my autocross car. so im looking for alternatioves to eliminate the drone and excessive noise. (and yes, the car has sound deadening and exhaust out to the rear bumper.)

its a 425 horse small block duster with a full mandrel bent 3 inch exhaust and x pipe.

let me know your experiences. google didnt really retrn anything relevant.

those are the things that go into the header collectors and choke off most of the airflow? might as well just get some 2" turbo mufflers..

I had them in my Mustang. 2 1/2" pipe, mandrel bends, Magnflow mufflers. Trying to eliminate drone, I put them in the tailpipe . They did eliminate the drone, didn't do much for quieting it down and because of the location, it sounded like something was jammed up my tailpipe, which it was! It was that ppphhhtttttt sound. This was all partially my fault because they should be installed further upstream but I had nowhere else to go with them. They're pricey for what they are and were a b*&*^tch to remove.

I've made other changes to my system but if I had to do it over again, I'd check into www.classicchamberedexhaust.com for fit in tight spaces.
