Made my reservation for The Challenge at the Host Hotel.
So the car is not done, but at least one thing is checked off my list. I did not see the phone number in the Host hotel listing here (only the address) so here it is (352) 331-3336 Don't forget to ask for the GRM rate. It saves you like $25 on Friday/Saturday and $10 on Thursday. I think the rate went up to $104 a night from $99 last year, but not sure about that.

Oh, and I know there are cheaper hotels, but so much happens at the host hotel that it's probably well worth it.

We are bringing the Hello Kitty Honda this year, but next year I'm shooting for some good old American steel.

Keep the Hello Kitty thing quiet, I don't want to be sued by a corporate giant.

When I reserved the gal that answered said the AAA rate was still better then the GRM rate FWIW......

FYI: The (presumably hot, young,) UF chick who booked the room for me informed me that the GRM rate was better than the AAA rate; AAA = 107/nt. GRM = 104/nt.

Anybody want to split a room, check in for us, or, recommend a trashy pay cash and no questions asked hotel? Being under 21 sucks in so many ways I never even though of until now
