Where do you all buy your injectors? The 440s i have now aren't going to cut it for a whole lot longer, and i'm looking at going quite a bit larger just so i don't have to keep buying them every time i upgrade.

I always got mine from people on the rx7club.com, there's always people on there that are getting rid of big injectors for a fair price...

Yepper, plenty of them from RX7s.

Do you know what they rate in lbs, cause I have some 18lb ford ones laying about

    LB to CC conversion

18Lb injectors is 189cc's per minute.

As for cheap ones, alot of people use the turbo DSM ones for added cc's, but people are starting to catch on to the fact they are cheap, and the price is going up. Best bet, look on all the forums.

    The DSMs are too small.

I'm looking for maybe 800ccs. 550s are absolute minimum, but i'm sure i'll outgrow them within a year, so i'd rather just spend the money once.

    Precision 660cc injectors for $190

    Precision 1000cc injectors for $225

Both for honda applications, but I'm sure you could use them for yours as well.

Going from memory here and it has been since the 90s since I thought about these really, but lots of the older throttle body injection Fords (Ford called it CFI) had injectors in 45-50lb range in non HO V8s (forget exactly) and should be dirt cheap at pull a part yards. The V8s each had 2, think early/mid 80s LTD. 84/85 5.0 auto Mustangs had even larger versions but would be harder to find. The 2.3 HSC Ford engines the sort that came in Tempos not the Mustang 2.3 had Bosch injectors in the 55lb range. 2.3 HO HSC and 2.5 HSC had an injector around 65lbs.I'm wanting to remember something being strange with the resistance on the Tempo injectors, but again they should be dirt cheap.

Mitsubishi Starion and Conquest had really big injectors.

If I were going that large, I would save up and buy a set of Injector Dynamics injectors. They aren't that expensive and they range from 750-2000cc with stupid response times and atomization., and can be used with over 130psi of fuel pressure

What motor is this on? There's a couple different physical sizes, and some injectors that are cheap to find may not fit.

I have a box (10 maybe) of those Ford CFI injectors if you want to double them up. Make an offer.

F2T. Looking for something that'll play nice with that motor and one of your DIY PNP kits.
