Wouldn't it be a Saloonpra? It looks like it is a 4-door.

It says "Districto Federal" on the license plate. Maybe it's from Mexico.

EDIT: maroon92 beat me to it (shakes tiny fist at maroon92).

it is essentially a Golf though, you could probably reg it as a kit if you import it without an engine and drop in a 2.0T

Distrito Federal is Mexico City. That is one long drive.

I saw that with Mexican plates a while back, I got super excited when it went by.

What kind of bizarro world do we live in where Mexico gets a better Focus than the US does?

A 305 FWD true hot hatch? In lime green? Not everything has to make sense, you know.

Same bizarro world where they still have (or did until recently) the b13 sentra.

I remember I saw new ones when I was down there in 2003. They call it the Nissan Tsuru. Thought it was pretty cool they still made those.

Mexico gets all kinds of neat stuff we don't. Just go to Monterey and drive around the areas where car dealerships congregate and you'll see Peugeot, Alfa Romeo, Fiat, Opels (branded Chevy), neat little pickups built on FWD sedan chassis, VW Buses, a bunch of Japanese and Korean Kei class cars and much more. they don't have FMVSS issues, so can import darned near anything from Europe and South America.

I only speak enough to get me arrested, or invited to a donkey show. Not sure that helps.

I saw an late 90's renault clio with aftermarket wheels and a suspension work on campus a few times up at PennState. I snapped a picture of it one day, I'll dig it up on my phone. Had a female driver too.

When you speak spanish you must have a braying accent to get mistaken for a donkey.

I speak enough to piss off my customers in Spain and Central America!

Just kidding, I actually lived in Spain for a bit, so if anyone needs something translated, I can try.
