the other day i saw a yellow aveo hatch with black rims and i thought it was pretty sharp in a really homely way.

There's a yellow suzuki aerio with black wheels down the street from the shop that always catches my eye. Dorkishly cool.

There are plenty of good handling cheap cars. Look for a DOHC Saturn... a 5-speed SL2 or SW2 for a sleeper. Neons aren't bad either.

Not long after the Aveo appeared a dealership in Pensacola had one on display with a nice aero body kit, wheels & tires, and it had a perfect stance. It was quite impressive looking. However, I finally got around to driving one in 05 and was very dissappointed. Anything can be improved though. There is a couple of guys that used Volkswagen GTi Coilovers on their Aveo... they look good when they are dropped on Coilovers I must say...

If anyone gets an Aveo and puts drop springs on it i will buy the stock rear springs for FIVE AMERICAN DOLLARS (+actual shipping). They're an upgrade for my Insight..

The replacement for the Aveo is using an Ecotec. So maybe an Ecotec?

You can make MK2/3 VW coilovers work on the Aveo.

Yeh, i totally dig those wheels. Wish i had something they fit besides my insight (which i already bought wheels for).
