A long time ago I bought a set of chevy camel hump heads from pick and pull, because I thought they were worth something. I took them and had them magnafluxed, and they have one crack between the intake and exhaust valves (which the machinist said could easily be fixed at the same time as replacing the valve seats, which they need anyway). I have tried to sell them, but I think the word cracked expands to fill up the entire screen and obscures any other information when someone reads my add, either than or they are just worthless. So should I just toss them? Or is there someone somewhere that still likes stuff like that.

Toss them on Craigslist and see what happens. But I'd rather put the money towards some Vortec's since they outperform the camel humps.

They're basically scrap. They're just not worth what they used to be. Your only hope is to check the casting numbers and date codes and see if some Vette restorer wants them. GM date codes read as A019 would be Jan 1 1969 and L310 would be Dec 31 1970.

FYI not all Camel hump heads came off of vette's.
Are they big valved heads? Do they have bolt holes on the heads for power steering alternator etc?
You need to list these things in the for sale add.

They are the 291 casting, small valves. They dont have accessory holes. I have listed them for sale many times, I guess Im just wondering if I should feel bad about throwing them away. I have had them since before vortec heads were an everyday junkyard find, so yeah, i know most people wont want to rebuild them.

They may be valuable to folks restoring cars trying to achieve 'matching numbers' depending on what they came in. If you find that out and advertise them as such, you may have good luck.
