Repair shop lost my last chock rod on my Holley-Weber 5220. I have metal rod to make more, but I am not sure of the exact length. Does anyone have one handy that they can measure?

Something that helps start the old car in the winter.

Hmmm....Never had one that worked, even in MI winters.

What's the application? I have two carbs that look like that.

The little rod attached to the choke door in your picture.

I'll look around tonight. I knew what a choke rod was, didn't know if this is the carb you have. I have one from a Samurai and one from a Fiest/Festiva. Both look like the one above.
Any chance of bending one up? How about a manual choke cable, no rods?

I want to use the electric choke. I am all for bending one up. I was hoping someone could measure theirs so I can make it the right size. Made one yesterday out of 1/8" rod, but it is a bit too thick. About and inch and a half (not counting bent portions) seems about right

The choke rod usually controls the fast idle cam.
