Seems interesting, a variation on the Lemons of course. It looks like it will be at a LOT of tracks.

Hmm, OK, I guess I missed that one. It was a while ago.
Still seems interesting, if they can get the entries.
they can. every lemons race has a waiting list.
our lemons team will have done 4 events this season (after nelson ledges next week), and have already signed up for at least one CC race (rockingham, IIRC) in addition to our planned Lemons schedule. guys are seriously considering ditching autoX in order to have more time for crapcan racing. it's addictive.
Buzz, two races - the rock and VIR.
sweet. wasn't sure about VIR.
If they aren't into crushing someone's race car, I'm into it. What is up with the entry deadlines. A Dec 14 entry deadline for a race in the middle of March? Maybe I'm reading something wrong, but that's just stupid. I imagine like many others, the car is not ready to go until the last minute. I can't enter a race 3 months in advance.
why not? are there a lot of W2W endurance races with no registration, at which you can simply show up the day before?

Crushing, no. But some of the penalties that they talked about - draining the oil, taking the oil filter off, and then sprinkling dirt where the filter was. Draining 1/2 of your oil and 1/3 of your coolant and then sending you back out on track for 30 minutes before you can replace them. There are other penalties that make you a rolling roadblock on course a danger to yourself and others.
Yea that draining one.. Id like to see what the guys arm and hands look like after a race when he is opening hot radiators and removing Hot oil from an engine.
That one seemed not well thought out.
Didn't look that far into it to see the penalties. I fail to understand what is gained by destroying (potentially) a competitor's engine or something else equally as stupid. I guess it's not a problem if you don't get penalized, but I'm against the senseless destruction of a race car, whether it's mine or someone else's. If the driver or somebody earns a penalty, park them.
