Unfortunately we can't make it to Monterrey this year (boo! hiss!) but I noticed that ChumpCar is visiting the local track this weekend.
Anybody been to one of these races as a spectator? Was it worth the visit?

If you enjoy drinking beer, wandering through the pits and marveling at ghetto-fab, cheatonium and tough luck, then yes.

Depends. Do you know anyone racing / have anyone to cheer for? Do you like watching other racing?
I get bored to tears watching racing. Doing? Love it. Watching? Meh. Even at something like the Petite, I'll spend maybe an hour actually watching the racing. The rest of the time is goofing off in the Jeep, drinking beer, walking pit lane to check out the cool cars, etc.
