    One of these days I'll own a Corvair. A nice, solid, summer DD would be perfect.

    How about a nice, solid winter DD? I'm not sure if I really want to go through with this one.

    S10 wheels are remarkably light (my 15x7's were 15 lbs) and are a direct bolt-on for lates. you can also bolt on a lot of BMW wheels, which are 5x120mm versus the 5x4.75" (120.65mm) of the late. that's 0.325mm, or about 0.013", on the radial position of the lug hole versus the lug. That's probably within the production machining tolerance on which the late hubs were made, LOL. measure twice, buy once. don't be afraid of high positive offset, as you can use bolt-on adapters to put the tire where you need it, to avoid suspension and/or chassis clearance issues.
