I always felt the same about the Countach, although if you look at photos of their first prototype that went around to the auto shows, it was a lot cleaner design compared to the production version with all the extra scoops and flares and stuff. There was one year where to meet federal regulations US-spec Countachs had a weird extra bumper on the front end that was shaped like a trunk spoiler.

With the Countach, it's like Bertone wanted to best realize the angular form of Clint Eastwood's chiseled jaw. It's not a particularly attractive design but damn is it masculine.

thats amazing, and who knows he could have a wife that was just as big a part of the build as he was or simply didnt care and was happy he wasn't bugging her.

I recently did wrote a case study on Audis takeover of Lambo and found a lot of interesting information. It is simply amazing the company was able to last through some of it's situations. The workers are truly what kept it together!

Neither do roomates. I had to heat up my front hubs once to get the bearing races out, but I didn't have a torch, so I took them off and baked them in the oven. My roomates were not happy when they came home and our kitchen smelled of piping hot bearing grease.

It's safe to say that if this guy shares his house with someone, they've got their priorities straight.

I guess I'm the only one asking of all the Italian supercars to build with those insane fabrication skills, why choose a completely unattractive one?

I was reminded of this post tonight as I watched NCIS.. Agent Gibbs building a wooden boat in his basement. Will the series last long enough for him to finish, or is he just too busy solving crime?

I suppose there are people who find Scarlett Johansson unattractive as well.

Please at least acknowledge that the Countach (as miserable as it may be to live with) is the default dream car to millions.

I do acknowledge that, but it's just one of those things. Just like the old '60s E-types, I know that LOTS of people think they're beautiful but I just don't see it. I must be fundamentally different somewhere in my brain, because Scarlett Johansson is really good-looking, but not the best-looking girl I've ever seen haha.

So, to sum up, Ferrari 250GTO > Countach and Jessica Alba > Scarlett Johansson
