CHIC MAGNET - $2195

stumbled upon another craigslist marketing genius, I was looking for cheap cars on craigslist for my sister and stumbled upon the title

"CHIC MAGNET-$2195"

now I ask you how do you not click on that? So it would appear that this car has a "SUPER BAD STEREO SYSTEM" which begs the question, how bad can it be? No mention, of Miles, transmission, engine or anythign that matters

I also stumbled upon a mazdaspeed protoge that "needs a motor due to hole in the block" which odly sounds benign considering

I would be much more shocked to come across a Mazdaspeed Protege on CL that DIDN'T have a hole in the block.

And is the seller 50 years old? I mean, what would make anyone (male or female) think a white, 12 year old Firebird is special? Oh, right, that stereo.

v8? I'd take an LS1. Hell...I'd take the LT1! I owned one once. Aside from the Optispark fiasco it was a great car

Sucks the stereo is super bad.

I had a bad stereo in my old station wagon. Damn paper speakers from the 80's just disintegrated. It takes a week or two to get used to driving with no radio (I delivered pizza at the time, so A LOT of quite reflection)

buy the ,sp and swap in a disi. dont waste money on putting another glass protege 2.0 in it.
they have phenomenal handling. such a disappointment engine wise though. or put any other mazda fwd in it. I'd bet money it'll be worth all the work.
