we managed to finally get a motor for our 89 Si. its a mini-me, which is built from a y8 head and intake. weve also got the p28 ECU to go with it.

what im having difficult with is the wiring. i cant seem to find anything online that makes sense, and when i asked over on the honda boards, all i got was "buy a conversion harness". i dont want to do that, as theyre expensive and im cheap. does anyone have any good links or how to's to do this? ive done a bunch of wiring before, but never on a honda. basically, i need to convert my 89 Si from OBD0, non vtec, to OBD1 vtec.

    thanks

I don't have any insight on making the harness, BUT:

I often see these pop up used for $40, if that helps. I think that's more than worth it. New is what.... $80?

Let me ask around, i might know someone that has one.

    Is your P28 chipped already?
