BTW- outside of some of the electronics, a newer 4.0 DOHC from the Pacifica is a bolt in too on paper, at least. But it's nothing that can't be overcome.

why?
because its a massive upgrade, he didnt know beforehand it would need that hood, and its unique. Why not? We can all agree that the hood is atrocious but it's also probably a highly unintentional byproduct, not something one does on purpose.
Also, the 4.0 is still sohc. It should be externally identical or very close to the transverse 3.5s like what this guy used.
