    All good suggestions. I've been using a Flip Video Ultra for about 2 years now. Examples:

    Skip Flip's "action mount," though. Mine broke in a week. Instead I picked up a pair of Ram Mounts - one with a magnetic base for steel, and one suction cup for glass (or plastic in the case of a Saturn ). Between the two of them, I can stick the camera practically anywhere on or in the car. I'm quite happy with the results. And the quality of the video is even better than my old camcorder, which has since died. The one area where the camcorder was better was trackside video. The Flip only has a 2x digital zoom, which is pretty awful. But that's not what I got it for.
