Do threads normally get deleted around here? Or am I just not seeing it.

I recently started a thread titled "My Life as a C-List Driving instructor"\

It appears to be deleted. Just trying to figure what went wrong to prevent it from happening in the future. Cheers.

I saw it the other day so it definitely did get published and I don’t believe any of the content violated the rules so I don’t know.

Click on the “Your Posts” button and see what happens.

Does appear to have disappeared. I read it but didn't comment. Can't find it by going through the OP's commented threads either.

Thanks, I gave that a try and its not showing up. Oh well, Maybe ill give it a go another time. I just figured it would be a fun way to share al the car photos I take when I work!

Not sure what happened to it. I don't recall seeing it.i just checked the admin side and couldn't find it.

I believe it was at least two pages long. Just the other day. Had pictures of a cool NASA vehicle too. But it's not showing on his list that I can find.

I don't think it was deleted on purpose. I have reached out to Ed to see if he has any way to see what happened to it.

I saw it. It was a good read. 

I liked the motorized elevated lounge more than any of the awesome cars.  

I'm curious if the FIRM connection had anything to do with it. I know GRM has done multiple things at the FIRM and published the name multiple times in articles so I doubt its any ill will, but maybe it crossed a line toward something that GRM would like to have an advertising conversation about with the FIRM first?   

Pure speculation on my part so please don't take this as GRM's opinion.

Shouldn't his post be able to be recreated since we have the cached version? It includes all the text and coding. I'm sure some of us are savvy enough to do it.  You just have to create the thread and attach it to whatever sub forum it was in. If I was more experienced I could but I don't know. Who had access to modify the website?

I don't have that kind of access but if B13Birk doesn't want to start a new thread I can build a thread tomorrow when I can get on my laptop. All the posts would look like they were made by me though, which would just be confusing.

I am hoping Ed can shed some light on this for us.
