    1. I'd be a little concerned about not being able to find a grille.
    2. Probably not concerned enough to let that stop me.

Be different and put an 80s Caddy grill on it. I would buy one but my wife won't let me dress like a sheik anymore outside the house.

    Fixed it for ya there.

after seeing the Turbo Diesel Vette the other day.. why do I have the urge to buy a rolls and fit it with a Diesel engine capable of making enough torque to change the planet's rotation?

Because a Powerstroke or Cummins under the hood of said Rolls is a BRILLIANT idea... and we would all be better off if you were to do it.

Large-displacement V8s would work, but if I were going to make a sacrilegious Rolls / Bentley, it would spew diesel smoke and reek of french fries.

They do it across the pond...

One of the comments on that vid gives me dirty thoughts..somebody said something about using the Cummins out of an old Ram pickup. I've seen three or four cars on this very thread that would be great candidates for such a swap.

Stuff a Powerstroke, Cummins or Duramax in it, use the axles brakes etc from a 3/4 ton pickup, use full wheel covers to hide the big brakes and 8 lug wheels, etc. Wouldn't that be an interesting tow vehicle.
