They have a racing series for this down under.

It's kinda like Factory 5 and their Cobra series. A good way to sell cars.

the more I look at this thing, the more I think it's freakin badass, and keep wondering what it would be like to make one of those with 13" wheels, a bigger thumper engine (650cc or something like that) or a 600cc sportbike mill, a longer wheelbase, fenders (make it look like a LMP coupe basically), and run it in DSR or BMod

Uh, basically it would be like watching one of Per's videos.

this is true, it would still be interesting to try though, especially if you could somehow make it competitive with the baby-LMP1 cars that seem to dominate CSR and DSR and make it drive a lot like a big gokart with some suspension. alternately, it could make an interesting/new design direction to go in for a Formula Ford

Everything that you guys have suggested adds more weight to the design. Bigger tires, more weight. Double A-arms, more weight. 2 shocks, more weight. 30k is a lot of dough tho.

Neat but 30k?,honestly I'm sure I could build that for about $2500 without even trying too hard. Its along the same lines as trying to fathom how they get what $80 for a radical?.

Fascinating. I want to drive one, badly.

I'd like to drive on WELL.

The small size is what got me wondering if a larger tire like a 10-13" wouldn't be better. Dwarf car tires?

    Har Har.

Drive on good sir, Drive on
