    So what would be the value of a set of side skirts pulled from a dumpster that fit my challange car. The shop closed down.

    It's out in a dumpster. The general public could walk up and grab 'em. My vote would be $0.

    Personally, I hate that kind of stuff on a car.

    But only if the dumpster was outside the gate, and available to the general public.

    If you had access to it because of some special arrangement (like you were personal friends of the owner), then FMV.

    This makes me think, with various places going out of buisiness I gotta start checking the dumpsters. I got 3 1/4"x3'x6' steel bench tops from the dumpster behind a sporting goods store on my last forray.

    I'll set the value at the end of build. I am going to be close to the cap in the build.
