A '91 Crown Vic wagon just popped up on my local CL. Are these Panther chassis cars that all the fun cop stuff will bolt up to? Evil thoughts are quickly accumulating in my head like black clouds.

Slightly less evil: did the Vic wagon ever get 3rd row seats? For some reason I really want those.

I can't remember if my stepfather's 86 CV wagon had third row, (I think it did)

Yup, most of the later Panther chassis stuff bolts right up. Is it a 302 or a 351 car?

    IIRC all wagons were 5.8L

That wagon would have a low output 5.0L, the only 5.8L that year would have been in a police sedan with a variable venturi carb setup.

I had a 91' Marquis sedan that I swapped a mustang top end on and drove for awhile. Had more bark than bite, but mustang parts are cheap upgrades.

Most parts up to 02' for the chassis will bolt right up. Things like rear axles with disc brakes, bigger front discs, etc.

Then go do this in it, I think this car may even be for sale.

I believe somewhere around here probably in a salvage yard on Hall Street, there is a wrecked 400 hp 89 Vic.
