Are those Ebay coilovers complete crap or can they be ok?

I tend to buy the cheapest set on there for the hardware which is ok. Springs are usually junk and replaced with proper rate/length from summit or a roundyround supplier.

the last set i bought had plastic tops. they got smashed into the strut mounts on my corolla and i pretty much had to cut them off to replace them. I replaced the springs with eibachs that were too soft for my race car.

We use a set on our grm challenge car. Collars were okay for the money spent on them, however the springs were absolute crap, so we ended up replacing them with cut circle track springs.

As long as you don't compromise your ideals and beliefs I dont see anything wrong with that.
