    I have the same wheel in my daily driven Miata. I got it because 1. the stock wheel was falling apart and 2. I didn't want to shell out the money for a nicer wheel if I didn't like the size/dish/etc. It's been a fine wheel, pretty sturdy and comfortable. The grip material is coming unglued from the spokes slightly but that doesn't interfere with the actual grip. Price was about $40 shipped including the hub.

    You can buy used momo wheels for cheap enough I dont think its worth messing with the ebay garbage. As far as seats, at least here a set of seats from the junkyard is $75, and you can get ones that will just bolt right in.

    Here's my effort: new $75 seat and $20 ebay wheel. The wheel is great! Much smaller than stock (I think it's 225mm diameter), needed because the steering rack ratio is so slow. The seat is a "V Racing Rush", a Cobra Monaco that was rebadged by Konig.

    I was at Pepboys the other day - they have Grant wheels starting around $25 if you want to go with a known quantity. The adapters for the Grant wheels are a lot cheaper than the $80 I had to spend on a momo adapter, also.

    aren't there any junkyards in the area to get stock seats and a steering wheel? if the car is just for the kids to abuse, why spend good money on aftermarket parts and time to install them? if the kids want to upgrade, then they can upgrade..

    CRX-si seats are pretty rare these days, and non-si seats suck. And my kids will not be abusing this car or they won't be driving it anymore.

    I had a set of ebay (~$250 reclining, brand="DAD") seats in my E30iX. The mounts had to be fabbed and would cost about another $100 to have someone build them if you can't/don't weld.

    I thought they were good looking comfortable and supportive, my wife hated them (to narrow in the shoulders for her and harder to see out of). They weighed less then 1/2 the stock seats, but felt a little flimsy becaused they flexxed more then the stock (non-sport) E30 seats.

    So OK for an abused DD, but if I was bound for a track or a rally, I'd get a fixed back or stay w/ stock.

    Knowing how much engineering goes into ensuring the safety of an OEM seat, I wouldn't replace any OE seat with a $100 ebay copy. I enjoy having a relatively straight spinal chord.
