I have a 89 Civic Si I got for free and am going to build into an autocross/maybe challenge someday car. I also have a set of 13x7 wheels with -48mm offset that I don't know what to do with. See where this is going?

Anyone have pictures of box flares on an early civic?

honestly, if it is clean and roadworthy.. you can probably sell that SI for a nice bit of change and get a newer honda to cut up.

Sorry, I just like the lines of the older cars too much

Well at the moment it is neither clean or roadworthy.

Yep. Proof that box flares are the breast implants of the automotive world.

I think J's Racing makes flares for Civics--might be EG, though. They aren't box flares, though--they're more like bolt-on/rivet-on flares. I'm thinking they could be adapted to an EF, regardless.

I found this on my harddrive:

...can't remember if I posted it to that thread or grabbed it from that thread...

Now if someone would make them for the EP. Please, please, please.

Yea I was thinking about the bolt on flares but I thought box flares would look better with the boxy style of the EF. The bolt ons might look decent though.

I found a pick but it wouldn't load up, so I deleted it and will try again. I think flares would like good. Did you ever find any?

Nope, I ended up passing the car on to another member before I did anything with it.

I'm trying to get away from EF's actually. The Crx Si is on the market. I'm in my 30's now. I need a manly Subaru. I see you have one, and your down the road from me just a little bit.

I'm working on getting a second, even manlier Subaru as well . They could possibly be addicting.

Know of any 1996-2001 impreza's for sale? They are more in my price range than WRX's.
