So I was wondering what was different in a normal '73-'79 F100 and one with the Ranger package?

Originally, I think it was just a trim package. A '79 F150 4x4 I had, had a few of the pieces (steering wheel, seat trim, floor mats), but it was NOT shown as a Ranger. It was also a 'Custom', Ford-speak for stripper. If there's someone with more info, please chime in! Thanks!

It was a trim package. Nicer seats, carpets, hubcaps, etc. A Custom would have had pretty plain vinyl seats, a rubber floor mat and so on.

Factory bucket seats not a bench and carpet floor not rubber mat.

I had an XLT Ranger, but it was a full sized truck. It sported two tone paint, imitation wood and nicer door panels. 2WD.
