It seems the easiest way is to go events and start talking to people. For better or worse, it seems a lot of F500 guys aren't forum people...

My very brief experience being around an F500 on track was at WDCR-SCCA Club Racing School (where Steven - Like myself, an all-knowing PDX instructor - crewed for me). There was a nutty Sidewinder car in the same group I was in. My Radical D sports racer has a fairly healthy GSXR 1000 engine but is heavy at 1200#, partially the car, partially me being a fat f*ck.
Anyway - on a rolling race start the F500 could motor me on the straight. Modern 600s are all in excess of 100hp these days - is this a step backwards in their HP war?
