I like the FF hot rod kit as well... although if I'm ever able to build one of those kits, I lean towards the coupe... I just like the idea of a more "all-weather" car...

I kinda like the low-boy cycle fendered version. I'd like to see a rat version with widened chrome reverse wheels and wide whites.

How well do you think the roadster would handle a road course?

about as well as any other similar car. Just a slightly larger Locost with worse aero (didn't think that was possible) and more power.
You'd have to pay attention to the safety details, like roll cage, fire extinguisher, fuel cell, roll over valve, cut off switch, proper seating and harness(es), window net, etc.

It has the roll bar and harness bar built in (at least they show it on the site, but not on all the completed cars)

I've been wanting a ratrod-esque highboy coupe version of that since I saw it on the website last year. Fake a good rusty paintjob on the body, widened steels and paint some wide whites on a set of uber-big Rcomps. Fuzzy dice and maybe a real raccon tail on the antenna. Then rip the nuts off everyone at the local track. awww yeah....

I love the FF '33.....if I had the cash, I'd probably be assembling one of those instead of building .the datsun.
