I started poking around the FFR forum after readying about the TDI concept. I found this thread and loved the motor!
I would imagine it was an expensive build, but very cool looking finished product.

Now that is cool!
Read through the thread, and a couple more pop up. It's pretty neat.
That's some tight packaging.
I am not too sure about this one. Looks more cobbled than designed. 2 mild steel washers on the drive shaft adapter bolt without self clinching nut looks like a problem with a head start, solid mounted exhaust out of the turbo, cold sloppy welds, maintenance nightmare packaging, Sounds great and it is making makes big power (for now anyway, stock internals?). I liked the v10 e30 M3 awhile back 1000x more.

"But this one goes [two] higher."
I didn't realize the M60 was an aluminum block and had forged internals.
I was under the impression it was just two M20B25s meshed together.
S54 cobra would be sweeeeet. Drool...

Fixed that for ya!
The piping welds look look bad. You would have thought that they would have done a nice tig weld on the polished intake since that is the first thing you see when he opens the hood.
WOW, thats is an impressive build! I really want to do a 2JZ factory 5 cobra...
In reply to Shaun:
Yeah i kinda agree... IMO the best german mashup is the vorschlag LSx M3
