I'm not really concerned with tread life.

Excellent in the dry, near Rt615 grip levels, but absolutely horrendous in the wet. At least with a 300TQ V8 they were...

I like the 912's. They wear pretty quickly, but for the price I think you'd be hard-pressed to find something better. I was actually really pleased with wet performance.

I like my 512s well enough. Cheap, and they're about ready to be replaced at 25k, which I find respectable enough.

They don't even make the 512's any more do they? The 912;s i had on my MS3 were excellent for what they were, just replaced them with some yoko Avid ENVigor and they are alright so far but still would have preferred the DWS's

I like the Bridgestone Potenza RE960AS a lot. But they ain't cheap.

I love these tires, but at now $81(tirerack) each for 195/60/14, I'm looking for something cheaper.

I didn't think so, which is why I switched to Fuzion HRi when I had my flat. Couldn't find a pair of 512s to replace the ones in the back of the car. But poking around the internet, I've found them listed for sale somewhat recently.

Then again, until recently Vulcan Tire still listed the Falken Azenis RT-215, not that they had any in stock...

Really, that grippy? Excellent news then.

I've gone through two full sets of 512's, buying them two tires at a time for my wife's maxima.

They're okay, for the money. Better than no-name bargain tires from who knows where. My biggest complaint is in the snow. They are terrifying.
