and is Farrah cooter watching that black and white TV?

I suggest replicating that car will all the latest electronics... for less than 1/10 of the asking price.

Call me crazy, but I actually like the exterior. Though it would look better if he hadn't ditched the flip up lights.

I remember seeing it in the flesh when it was new at a rod and custom show when I was a kid - too bad Farah wasn't there with it.

But that's a "multi-line" rotary phone . . . you'd need to tape a few cellphones to the dash. Good thing tape sticks well to fur, or hair, or whatever that is.

It has always amazed me how the same George Barris could be the man behind the stunning "Hirohata Merc" and all those 70's custom travesties that make "pimp my ride" look subdued

    Man how tastes change

The Hirohata Merc is Sam Barris' styling. Not his brother George. This is the Sam Barris Merc:

    Sam died in 1967.

I suspect that Farrah's time with the car lasted approximately as long as that photo shoot.

That's what I was wondering... some actual history of the car and its connection to her - other than the name and a couple of pictures - would be nice.

I put that model together back in the day. I remember well though that the model had a 454. I painted mine red instead of green
