I've always thought Fiat 124 coupes were pretty sharp. I'm wondering if this a good deal, and if anyone else be interested in cutting on on it for some super cheap Fiat stuff...I stumbled across this ad doing my routine Craigslist hunt. I've been considering selling the E34 touring to fund a fun project along with an appliance daily driver. I don't have room for five cars, but at $3k for the whole shebang, I could hypothetically find some others to go in on the whole thing and have everybody come out ahead.

Sounds worth it, depending on rust status. Also, the listing seems a bit ambiguous...is it 3 non-rusty cars, or one rust-free BC only etc.? Definitely worth checking out, though. Could be a Fiat goldmine, or it might be a graveyard .

My first car was a BC coupe. Loads of fun, but rust got the better of it in the end. Mechanically, they're pretty simple/robust.

Fiats in michigan? I have a feeling they would look like clarksons lancia beta in a wheelbarrow from that one top gear clip. IMO older italian cars are almost all so rusty they arent really worth putting money into unless you are doing a full restoration (as in strip to the shell, rust repair and new paint). Even in california most are terribly rusty, the fact that most of them lived near the ocean when new doesnt help either.

How in the world could anyone resist an AC coupe? Junkers AC's sell for more than 3K alone.

They were both really nice looking cars.

I'm wondering if this seller doesn't have pressure from somewhere (landlord / wife / both) to get rid of all this stuff. I would offer $1500 - $2000 for this pile. I don't see people coming out of the woodwork for this one.
