I've searched and searched and there don't seem to be cheap JY alternatives to the original being recored ($300, $400 for a new, $500 for a high performance). I'm looking more in the sub $100 realm being a somewhat cheap bastard. I've heard a Volvo 240 can be modded to fit but you have to run a pressurized overflow tank. Any ideas, or does anyone on the board recore radiators cheaper than $300?

I had the original tested at a rad shop while I was replacing the headgasket (no overheat, just a leaking old gasket) and it has tons of core leaks (good think I had it checked)...

where are you at, Raze. I have one sitting around not doing anything.

as for pressurised overflow tanks.. later model 124s used them. The last couple of years had no cap on the radiator and a pressurised tank on the firewall
