    When I was about 10 or 12, 2 Warthogs flew over my neighborhood skimming the tree line, it was pretty incredible, the noise still stays with me 13 years later. I already had a model of one hanging in my room at the time. My wife's cousin is currently disassembling them for upgrades in the Georgia swamps. My father-in-law has a collection of A-10 parts hanging around the house.

    There is, or at least used to be, a bombing range in the NJ pine lands where theses used to practice manuvers. when they fire the cannons the ground vibrates a few miles away! They look like a swarm of angry bees from a long distance away.
