So does anyone have any awesome pictures of first gen Civics? I'll start.

Even better if they are wagons. I know where one is I can get cheap and it isn't going anywhere anytime soon so I can finish the Yugo first.

My first race car was a Civic 1200. I think I paid $175 for it. I gutted it, added sway bars, a header, side exhaust and fat A008Rs. I miss that little car. No digital photos, though...

And, I'm still looking for a Civic 1200 smog pump if anyone knows where I can find one.

I had a 76 as one of my first "fun" cars, 1800 accord motor, same Jackson Racing widebody kit (minus one flare torn off) hole for a sunroof with no sunroof, and torque steer like mad

suprised it didnt kill me-wish I had it now

Thanks, but that's too far away. Ask him if he's got a smog pump that he doesn't need!

these are cars he drove and parked he is not a collector of cars in our sense he just drives and gets a new used car and parks what he was driving. the reason he parked ther honda was the clutch went out

Don't have any pics, but knew a dude who had a white one in high school. Recently my wife's friend started dating said dude. We had them over a few months ago. Took him down to the basement and showed him my big pile of old honda crap. He says "Man, I gave you a ride home from school once, and you kept telling me how awesome my car was, and I thought you were making fun of me." Just thought that was funny.

I had a 77 3-door and 78 wagon, both CVCC. Fun little cars, wouldn't mind having another one.

As far as remember was pretty straightforward....redrirolled a few mounts and bolted it in

Then was whooped by a 1200 civic on dual side drafts, his biggest problem was getting the drive belt to stay in place. At 8500 ish RPM....

Adam Malley took his street car, modified it, still drove on the street while it became an SCCA solo car. He won EP at Nationals on his first or second try. I believe it was on his first trip there.

Then, he took the same car road racing. I'm not sure if it was accomplished with his original car, but he won both HP and GT5 in first-gen civics.

Anyone got pics or details of the full carbon bodied N600 busa power'd autox monster I read about in GRM a few years back? guy was a month away from completion when the sanctioning body rewrote a few rules in his class, essentially excluding it from competition

Nope. Z600, not Civic.

If you say Z600 really fast it kinda sounds like Civic. Kinda.

It's more accurate to say he built the car without reading the rulebook or paying attention to proposed rules changes. I witnessed a conversation where he admitted to both.
