If anyone wants my existing 1969 Lotus Europa shell they're welcome to it. I just picked up a shell that's in far better shape. The shell is sitting in my driveway in Courtice Ontario. It's rough but the price is right. I'm picking up the new shell on Tuesday afternoon so I'm not willing to part with my existing one until I get the new one back to my place. This is just the shell. No frame, interior, mechanicals or glass included.

    Thanks Andy

I think I want it! Does it have doors? I assume this is Andy who autox'd the toyota powered 7 two summers ago.

    Hey Mike,

This is the same Andy. I've been doing some local autox and lapping days but I haven't been travelling as far. D'Arcy dropped by, to see the 7, on his way back from Picton last weekend. He said your sawzalled Miata was a blast to drive around the cones.

The Europa shell is complete including doors, boot and bonnet lids. You can decide which one is which. I've been picking away at the shell but it's still going to take a fair bit of work.

Q: What's more expensive than a cheap Porche?

    A: A free Lotus.

I can't argue with you. Luckily this list is populated by optomistic and mechanically inclined people who think that they can do what others can't. I think that they're right most of the time.

What's up with the free '69 Europas??

There's a complete and drivable one for sale that I drive by twice a day going to and from work. I could probably be convinced to stop and get pics and info if anyone is interested.

    In reply to fastEddie:

I'd be interested, but more interested in the price. I'm guessing it's going to be out of my price range. Is that on the car at all?

I'm also curious about the price, fastEddie.
