In Flight training I memorized a formula based on horsepower at both rich and lean

the correction factor for air density

Now 50 years later I need it again and all my searching won't turn it up.  Any suggestion where to look or on the off chance does anybody know the formula?

In reply to Robbie : seems overly simple.  I remember the formula as  something point pounds per hour times a correction factor based on how rich or lean the engine was running  times horsepower taken from the Pratt and Whitney rpm/ horsepower.

I passed the test and the subsequent test flights.  Not once in 9 years of flying did I ever run out of fuel and have to ditch st sea

That formula will tell me how to jets the carbs if I remember correctly. Save a whole lot of time on the Dyno
