So, my fuel pressure gauge will NOT fit in the available space around the Schrader valve on the end of the fuel rail.
Well, not without removal of the upper intake manifold. Which, lets be honest, would be a royal pain in the ass.
Is there a 90 degree adapter for this or something?
Rail is a 2004 Buick rendezvous rail with the factory schrader valve.
What am i missing to get on this? I just want to confirm the regulatorand system are operating within spec for piece of mind.
Pull valve core, get a swivel 90(aren’t they 4an?) hook up gauge. Once you verify everything take the lot back off and put the core back in. Consequently this is exactly how i feed my nitrous system fuel solenoid.
Aren't you feeding the rails with soft lines? If so, just put in a barbed tee with the gauge.
Disregard this if I am not understanding the situation...

Im really just trying to verify fuel system pressure is clost to spec before condemning other stuff. The flex lines at the engine are a motherberkeleyer to get to at this point. However, i could tap in at the back if i have to. Problem with that is that i need to confirm what the injectors are seeing.
Patrick: thats a brilliant idea! If i use push lock fittings it should be simple. Are they 4an?
