Will this start a new Front Wing trend??

You have to see it to believe it: http://jalopnik.com/photogallery/fwingscion/1008581965

If he did indeed break the record, functionally that thing works, it's just fugly......to each his own I gues...

If this catches on with the t00ner crowd, I will take a hacksaw to every front wing I see. I'll be doing the community a favor by making sure these bozos can see out their front windshields on the rare occasions they are paying attention to driving.

If there are any t00ner boiz reading this: You don't drive nearly fast enough to warrant having a spoiler- at all, anywhere- on your car. Knock it the berkeley off.

Ugh.... some people have no shame.

Please, Willow Springs, revoke that record as this is not a car.

He could merely mount it much lower and get some of the same effects minus the goofy looks.

I'm sure it was mounted that high for a reason. I seem to remember chris rado, I'm pretty sure he runs a parts company.

Runs a parts company and has taken a tC to every imaginable form of racing. Even going so far as converting one to RWD so he could drift it.

Yeah, i'm sure it's up that high for a reason..... off the bat, i could see how having it that high would possibly ensure efficiency of the rear wing.

without opening the thread I thought of the opening scene of Cannonball run with the black lambo

I love that lambo. It's the best car sound I think I've ever heard.

Maybe it's set up that high for forward visibility.

until you drive one! i would recommend a Countach to my worst enemy! Door shocks go bad so they become Guillotine doors, clutch petal kicked like a pissed donkey, brakes felt like wood, parking it would make you physically sweat, the rear window is the size of my thumb nail, battery is always dead. And this isnt just 1 Countach i encountered, its ALL Countachs i have encountered...

Oh I can't WAIT to see this on the streets. After seeing a few Civics with horribly adjusted wing angles (one angled UP so the car's back lifted on the highway) I can only imagine the erector sets we'll be seeing.

I got a ride in one that came in for an oil change as a teen ager. Dam rough ride felt like a high speed skate board! My 52 harley rides smoother.

    HAHAHAHA! Nice!

I don't know, I'm all about wacky and crazy and this just fits right into that. I think a splitter/front spoiler would be just as effective and less . . . .intrusive? But that definitely raised eyebrows, especially when it set a record, LOL!

What's with all the haters? I don't think it looks very sexy...at all, but the guy did figure out a faster way around the track and that is cool to me no matter what it looks like.

It already had and has one still. Went that much faster with the addition of the wing.
