Miata.net seems pretty lame when it comes to personal classifieds. Clubroadster.net seems OK, just picked up a set of Sport calipers/brackets to put on my 1.6

I'm used to places like R3V/E30tech for E30s where there is nearly anything you'd want for sale, from someone at any given time. Suggestions?

Where are the classifieds found at clubroadster?

I think you have to have an account, then once you do, toward the bottom of the page.

I didn't see the classifieds there until I signed up.

Yes, you need an account on clubroadster to view the classifieds, same with miataturbo.

Beware Miataturbo.net. It's not a nice place. They'll suspend/ban you for fun. I tried going there when I was first turboing my Miata. They have some BS deal where you need 10 posts before you can even go into their classified area, or some crap. I had a 10psi Miata and avoided the place like the plague. It's truly horrific. Just as good information at Miata.net with a lot less childishness.

I had great luck using the craigslist notifier app on my phone. Cruises CL while you're doing other things. SearchTempest was also good for finding stuff on CL in nearby towns.

No account at miataturbo.net, I can see the classifieds, and read through the threads in them.

    For reference.

Oh, looks like a max post limit.

Huh, the classifieds at miataturbo.net appeared as soon as I registered. At clubroadster they did not. That's the place I really want to see - I'm trying to score a deal on some 15x9s, and I figured that crew would probably get bored quickly enough to offload some decent used stuff.

Duke, check out the TRMotorsports 15x9. A bit heavier than the 6UL, but killer price.

How do you actually sign up for the mythical clubroadster forum? I tried and tried, sent personal e-mails and even got some replys, but they just wont give me an account.

I'm not sure, I signed up when it was first starting years ago.

I haven't had any problems with miataturbo. I don't think I even have 10 post yet but I have bought something from the forum by posting in the thread for the seller to pm me (since you can't send pms without a certain number of posts).

Do they HAVE to be 15x9?

Just curious, I'm about to pick up a set of 15x8 Konig Flatout's from Good-Win-Racing.

Look good, weigh the same as the 15x8 6ULs and are $50/each cheaper.

Thank you, Keith, those are on the radar too. Thing is, I'm not a fan of the look of the C3M. I don't really mind the other C models, but the C3M is just, well, dull, and that's the only one that comes in 15x9 as I recall.

I could go with 15x8s, but from everything I've read and heard, 15x9s are quicker, even with the same tire. I have 205s on 15x7s now, and I have problems getting the power down. I was looking to move up to 15x9s with 225s. I figure if I'm spending ~$400-500 on new wheels anyway, I might as well get more than an additional inch of width out of them. I don't want to have to sawzall the fenders for something huge like 275s, and I can't go to a 14" wheel because of the brake kit.

    I didn't have a problem with Miataturbo.net, but I'm not the rabble-rouser you are!
