We are having great difficulty getting the old fading, cracking graphics from our Challenge Shelby Dakota.I have used heat. bug and tar remover and Oops and nothing will dissolve the glue. Any ideas?

I have very carefully removed graphics from motorcycle gas tanks with razor blades, without damaging the paint. It's not easy and it takes a long time.
Or you could try one of these:

Coming along, but slowly. I will probably have it done by the time this arrived from Eastwood.

We use those vinyl eraser things at the body shop, it's by far the safest and quickest way to remove graphics.

When my dad worked for GM a long while ago, when the Firebirds had the screaming chicken hood emblems, he used to use a razor to peel off the ones that had bubbles or not on straight.

WD40 actually helps soften up the glue

could use one of those plastic razor blades... less of a chance of getting the paint...
but ya i've read enough times that those big erasers are the way to go...

I guess I am going ti try the graphic eraser. We have about 40% of the graphics removed but the rest just won't come. I have tried heat, 3m chemicals, razor blades, etc. None work very well. The 3m stuff doesn't affect the glue at all, not even the glue left on the truck after the graphics are off.

You can get that eraser at a NAPA or body supply place for about $20. You'll never use anything else after you've tried it.

I picked up an old rabbit racecar that had decade old near full wrap in it. I tried everything and ended up with the eraser. Now I never even bother to try anything else.
