If my 3m 5200 is cured in the bottle by the time I get to it, I'll give the liquid nails a test. Did you all paint the offending areas before applying the Liquid Nails?

Well I found that it made no negative difference in adhesion with the 3m 5200, plus as you say you get the added corrosion resistance.

I have a love/hate relationship with JB Weld. I don't think I've met an egg that cracks as easily as JB Weld.
