Does any one have a grassroots option for Heim joints/ rod ends? I need something with left and right 1/4"x 28" female threaded ends. Everything I am finding is about $30.00 each. I am making throtle linkage and shift linkage and dont want forked end fittings.

Good selection, good pricing. It's not Aurora stuff but it ain't bad.

    I've gotten them from McMaster-Carr http://www.mcmaster.com/

    Grainger may have them, too.

Either Racerpartswholesale.com or racerwholesale.com. One has economy rod ends. I think they both are GRM advertisers.

Check out go cart shops for the joints, then go to Home Depot/Lowes and buy 1/4" rod and cut and thread it yourself. I made my own shifter linkage like that.

I used rod ends from Grainger to make swaybar endlinks for my Miata and they have been doing just fine under there for a couple seasons now. They were $5-6 each, but I used 3/8", so 1/4" may be cheaper. Making my own endlinks for under $30 a pair sure beat paying $80+ for the kits on the Miata aftermarket.

    $2.95 for 1/4 rod ends from http://www.cmwraceparts.com/Chassis/Chassis16.html#Rod%20Ends

I use these two for all my heim joint supplies, mostly the first Rod End Supply. They have great prices on most everything, and are very nice to work with.
