My neighbor and I have came up with a build your self mig using junk! I already had a small arc welder (walmart 75amp job) so all that I needed was a way to weld with wire instead of rods. So we used a an old power supply motor to power the drive motor (which is 12 volts) and rigged up a valve for argon if needed...

The "head" came from a volvo truck plant that retooled there faciltiy - really heavy duty and kind of bulky but the drrive works well...

    Thought yall could appreciate!

hope the pictures work! Still havent figured out how to post pictures from photobucket right.

    Pics didn't work.

On Photobucket, under your photo, left click on the HTML code, which automatically copies it.

As you write in the GRM comment box, when you get to the point where you want the photo, right click and the box pops up, then left click "Paste" and the photo is inserted. You'll see the code as you're writing, but you'll see the photo in the preview box on the right of your screen. Very simple.

That is insane; what this site is all about. Love the flame retardant box! If you ever enter the 2009 challenge and bring that thing, you should be given a 5 point headstart for spirit of the event.

That's awesome, but I think you need a longer hose for your torch...
